Boats and Pests Are an Unlikely Duo

Mankind has always had a fixation with doing the impossible. Thousands of years ago we invented boats and other types of crafts that were capable of being on the water. It has only been a hundred years or so since we have taken to the sky in the form of flying aircrafts.

Our fixation with doing the impossible is what drives us as a species to get better. We have landed on the Moon in the past 50 years and we have further planned trips to Mars. We are constantly looking for ways in which we can expand our influence on the universe.

The first and potentially biggest step we ever took was the introduction of boats. You will notice that Pest Control Essex is a big thing in that area due to all of the pest problems on boats, but for the most part, boats are usually pest free.

That has not always been the case though. For instance, rats were never introduced to the North Americas until they were infested on a boat overseas. Once the boat landed, the rats bred and expanded across the country.

Boats are a big part of our society. They transport goods across the water and even serve as popular vacation destinations in the form of cruise ships. Without boats, our world would feel much bigger than it really is.
